A community aimed at bringing creative minds together and promoting their works.
Like cankerworms, They have eaten the womb of the nation, They promised happiness in various forms, At the end we are left with damnation, How then can youths fashion the future? Living here is a certain kind of torture. This is no place else but Nigeria, Where the motto says peace and unity, But division, negativity and tribalism is the main criteria, To eat, live and serve any office community, Fulani herdsmen are above the law and he knows why, The man who only keeps count of how many times we cry. Living in Nigeria alone is a way to die, Yet we walk by each other like we have nothing to say, But you must die as well as I, So why can't we fight for the same thing in every way? We got to face up our fears and look to ourselves, Only then does it make sense to pray and try to make amends. Green lands are for children to play, Tribalism our minds must wash away, Barren lands are for coffins to lay, Where all hopes has died away, I...
We find someone to blame, For the problems that we cause, Yet everything stays the same, My friend, please take a seat and pause. If you knew the world was going to end tomorrow, Will your heart be at peace or filled with sorrow? Over time, I’ve learned to do this a few different ways, My favorite way is fairly simple, Too much stress and worry I've set ablaze, Keep your mind in the middle. I believe it’s something you may find beneficial, Afterall most of our problems are superficial. There is no defeat except from within, Ask not for more riches but more wisdom, A life that I am making to begin, With which to make wiser use of the riches. Don’t be without love so you won’t feel dead, Free your mind and your heart from its shades of red. -Saefhenry Osas
A Crying Country See the land our forefathers suffered for and freed, Giving birth to thorns and injustice, Peace and unity indeed, There ain't no justice, just us. The youths are not the leaders of tomorrow, I believe everyone is in consensus with that now, All I see in tomorrow is a constant cloud of sorrow, That paints itself black to imitate her brow. I see only one hope for Nigeria, a land of honey, Where all tribes, religion and beliefs, Desiring neither power or money, But only the good of her mother land to offer solace and relief. -Saefhenry Osas
